Solamere has a private swim and tennis club, you do need to own a property in Solamere to access the club. Look for homes on Telemark, Eladar, and Solamere Drive.
There are many condos for sale in Lower Deer Valley area. The condos typically have better ski access if you are determined to be in this neighborhood. If you are looking for ski access, and beautiful luxury homes, then Upper Deer Valley or the Deer Crest neighborhood might work better for you. Price points are about double.
The views from the homes in this part of Deer Valley are the one's you read about. Views of the base mountain ski runs at Deer Valley are the most sought after. You will still need to hop in the car or take a shuttle ride from the home to the resort though...these views and lower prices mean you don't have direct ski access...but you are closer to town when it's time to head out for dinner.
